Options

All Year 9 students will be introduced to the Options we have on offer for their GCSEs 2026-2028 during November and December.

Please start to discuss with your son or daughter which options they would like to choose and encourage them to speak to the teachers who teach them. We have a Parents' Evening on the 22nd January 2026 and an Options Evening on the 15th January 2026 giving you a chance to get more information to support your decisions. 

Once the options have been chosen the timetable and staffing are finalised to accommodate the students’ choices. At this point any changes are almost impossible to make. Therefore, it is very important that you are fully engaged in the options process and your child has made well informed decisions. The final submission date for the school to receive the options is 12th February 2026.
