Voice 21 Oracy Centre of Excellence 2025
We are proud to be the first secondary school in Wales to become a Voice 21 Oracy Centre of Excellence. The awarding body recognised that, "Corpus Christi is a vocal and visible advocate for oracy.
Our vision:
'To create an oracy rich community where all members have the skills to communicate effectively, ask questions and where every voice is valued.'
At Corpus Christi we want to empower our pupils to speak confidently in a range of contexts and to listen well. Our curriculum enables pupils to engage in both exploratory talk and presentational talk. We offer a range of opportunities across the school for pupils to develop these skills.
Our Oracy curriculum is underpinned by the Oracy Framework created by Voice 21
