Parentpay

We accept payments online for items such as dinner money and school trips. Using a secure website called ParentPay you can pay online using your credit or debit card. ParentPay is our preferred method of making payments to school.

ParentPay is easy-to-use and offers you the freedom to make online payments whenever and wherever you like, 24/7 – safe in the knowledge that the technology used is of the highest internet security available and that funds will reach school safely.

Parents will have a secure online account, activated using a unique username and password that will be issued to you.  Making a payment using your credit or debit card is straightforward and ParentPay holds an electronic record of all payments for you to view at a later date. When you make a payment, an e-mail confirmation is sent to you, giving you reassurance that the transaction has been successful.

In addition, ParentPay offers you the ability to set automated email/SMS reminders ensuring you never miss a payment and helping you keep your child’s school meal account in credit at all times. It also ensures that all financial transactions are safe and secure.

Parental/Carer’s consent is required for students to be signed up to the system.  Thumbprint images will NOT be stored and when your child leaves the school their data will be deleted.  Pupil thumbprints are recognised in all secondary schools in Cardiff that have the system installed so if pupils are offsite at another school for any reason, they can still purchase meals.

Should your child’s account go into arrears they will be informed by the catering staff at the till that the account must be topped up.  They will be unable to purchase food the following day if the account has not been credited.

If your child is on Free School Meals, other pupils will not be aware as each pupil will be treated the same.  The daily lunch allowance for pupils on Free School Meals is currently £3.05. Pupils entitled to Free School Meals also receive an allowance of £1.60 per day to purchase breakfast. These sums are valid for one day only and cannot be ‘carried over’ to another day.  If their purchases go over this limit, money will need to be paid into their account by the parent/carer to make up the difference.
