Pupil Development Grant

What is the PDG?

The Pupil Development Grant (PDG) is designed to support improving outcomes and provision for students eligible for free school meals (eFSM) and children who are looked after (CLA). The PDG is intended to overcome additional barriers which may prevent learners from disadvantaged backgrounds achieving their full potential.

How our grant is spent

At Corpus Christi High School, our plan for using the PDG and CLA allocation from the Welsh Government is integrated into our school improvement plan (SIP). For the period September 2018 to July 2021 our overarching priorities are linked to:

  • Catholic values
  • Standards
