School Meals

Cashless Catering

All pupils have been given a booklet explaining the Cashless Catering system which will be introduced in the canteen in the Autumn term. Inside the booklet is a form to be signed and returned to school. If you have not yet seen the booklet please ask your child for it, or if it has been lost they should ask for a new one. Pupils and Staff will not be able to buy food and drink in the canteen with cash as from the 2nd November. For more information please read the Cashless Catering booklet available below.

Free School Meals

Is your child eligible for free school meals?

The answer is 'YES' if ONE of the following applies to you:

  • Income Support
  • Income based Jobseekers Allowance
  • Income Related Employment & Support Allowance
  • Guarantee element of State Pension Credit
  • Child Tax Credit
  • Child Tax Credit with Pension Credit (with an income less than £16,190)

Your child will also be able to have a free breakfast in school as well as a free lunch. In addition an extra £450 will be put towards your child's education. Even if your child does not want to claim the free meals it is beneficial to be on the list.

If you have any questions please ring the school and ask to speak to Mrs Richardson or Mrs Davies. We can also provide copies of the FSM form and provide help in completing the forms. Alternatively you can download the form below.
